ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, has strong communication skills and a friendly, professional, customer focused attitude. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior management to maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions, assist with resolving customer queries and invoice discrepancies, and support the timely collection of payments from clients.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Daily processing of customer payments received – speed and accuracy required
• Daily collections function for overdue invoices/accounts – friendly and professional communication style
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies/customer queries with invoicing and/or payments
• Daily customer account reconciliations and allocation of payments
• Monthly statement run and rolling of ledgers
• Other accounts related duties as directed by management

Key Requirements for this Role:

• Basic proficiency in Excel
• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar accounts role
• Experience with Pronto is preferred, but not essential (we prefer a great attitude over experience, and are happy to train the right candidate)
• Experience in a Customer Service role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to sort through high volume of transactions
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to prioritise, organise and keep track of daily tasks
• A positive “can do” attitude and the desire to learn and grow professionally
• Ability to work harmoniously within a team but also independently and unsupervised
• Ability to take direction and feedback to improve outcomes and streamline processes
