About the Project
Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (KMS) is a 50/50 joint venture between Sheffield Resources Limited and YGH Australia Investment Pty Ltd (Yansteel). The Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project (Thunderbird) is located mid-way between Derby and Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Thunderbird is one of the largest and highest-grade zircon mineral sands deposits in the world and contains valuable heavy minerals including ilmenite, zircon, leucoxene, and rutile, which are extracted and exported via the Port of Broome.

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Support Administrator to join our team on a casual basis, available for an immediate start!
Based in our Broome office, working Monday – Thursday (Flexibly depending on requirements), this role will be responsible for providing administrative support across the organisation, as well ensuring all facilities are maintained, visitors are welcomed and the office operates in an efficient and organised manner.
We are looking for someone with outstanding and proactive administration skills, as well as a positive attitude who is able to interact with all levels of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the office and all facilities are maintained, including the management of relevant supplies
- Liaise with and manage contractors including maintenance, cleaners, security and IT, ensuring all work completed is in line with KMS standards
- Assist with travel bookings for employees
- Organise events and external meetings as required
- Assist with credit card reconciliation and development of newsletters
- Support with preparation of Board Meetings, including compilation of Board Packs
About You
- WA C-Class driver’s license required
- 2+ years in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Professional demeanor; strong interpersonal skills
- Adaptable and proactive with a keen attention to detail
- Availability for ad-hoc overnight site work is advantageous
