Salary: AUD 65,000 to AUD 75,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Broome WA 6725, Australia

Ginreab Thai is looking for multiple Chef’s Assistants to work in our busy restaurant located in the beautiful region of Broome.

Responsibilities

·      Collect and prepare food ingredients before cooking and serving.

·      General cleaning duties in kitchen area

·      Goods receiving and stock rotation

·      Preparing cooking utensils like pots and pans for meal preparation.

·      Following food safety standards and guidelines

·      Cleaning, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients for cooking and presentation following instructions of chef in the shift.

·      Preparing meat, poultry, and seafood by cutting or grinding before cooking.

·      Organizing and storing food items, kitchen tools, dishes, and silverware in refrigerators, cabinets, and storage spaces.

Skills and Attributes:

·      Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a kitchen hand or chef’s assistant, ideally in a restaurant setting.

·      Good verbal communication skills.

·      Teamwork is a must

·      Ability to work in different rosters

·      Ability to work on weekends.
