About the role

In addition to general cleaning duties, the Cleaner in Charge is responsible for the organisation, supervision and training of NR TAFE cleaning staff, liaising with the Facilities Coordinator on cleaning matters and ensuring the high standard of cleaning and safety are maintained. The Cleaner in Charge is also responsible for managing, and monitoring the on-site student accommodation.

This position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Undertake duties associated with the provision of, cleaning the campus facilities including fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure the campus is left secure at the end of each day.
  • Organise and supervise campus cleaning staff.
  • Support and guide cleaning staff on NR TAFE policy, process and procedure.
