About the role

Kimberley Kerbs is seeking an experienced Concreter to join our team in Broome, WA on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, pouring and finishing of concrete across a variety of civil construction projects. As an integral member of our site crew, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure to our clients.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and setting up concrete forms and reinforcements
• Mixing, pouring and finishing concrete to specification
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Collaborating with the wider construction team to meet project timelines
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
• Providing on-site training and mentorship to junior team members

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Concreter, ideally in a civil construction environment
• Sound knowledge of concrete mixing ratios, curing processes and finishing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
• Current construction industry tickets and licences (desirable)
