Milliya Rumurra Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Substance Misuse Service. The organisation was first established in 1978. All our programs are based on the principles of “harm minimisation”. We have a proud history of responding to the alcohol and drug needs of the community. Our purpose is to help community members and their families affected by alcohol and drugs achieve their full potential.
Milliya Rumurra have the following positions available:
Continuing Care / Assertive Outreach Worker – male and female (F/T)
Carer – male (P/T)
Weekend Cook (P/T)
Above position are based in our Main Office on 78 Great Northern Highway (4 Mile) or at the Sober-Up-Shelter on 69 Wattle Drive in Broome.
What you need to have: police clearance (within the last 2 years), working with children check (not needed for positions at the Sober-Up-Shelter) and driver’s licence.
