The Company

Capogreco Farms is an entirely family owned and operated company. Established in 1988. Specialising in the production of Melons & Pumpkins all year round. Capogreco Farms comprises of two properties, Hamel 1 hour South of Perth and La Grange 1.5hours South of Broome.

The role is about commitment to the company. Working closely with the owners and keeping up productivity to the highest of qualities.

• horticulture skills/experience required
• looking for a minimum of 5 years experience in Horticulture, have experience in running a farm and knowledge of day to day operations
• must be able to make decisions for the company and in the best interest of the company
• a very strong work ethic and dedicated to getting the job done right the first time
• chemical certificate (an advantage) can be achieved at time of employment
• hands on involvement
• manual work at times
• copes well under pressure
• must be able to work unsupervised
• be able to supervise teams of staff and control them
• able to operate farm machinery
• presents himself/herself professionally and respectfully. (clean and tidy)
• efficient problem solving with regards to dispute resolution.

Good remuneration package available based on the level of experience you can bring to the company +superannuation +bonus, on farm accommodation and vehicle supplied.
