As Western Australia’s #1 Tourist Attraction Willie Creek Pearls is the most successful tourism business operating in Broome.  In addition to our 2 Broome Showrooms, Pearl Luggers tours and 4 Perth showrooms the 30-year family owned, and operated business runs dynamic multi component tours, hospitality services and a retail outlet from its premier location at Willie Creek on Waterbank station which is complimented by our Commercial Pearling Operations.

As a result of increased requirements to undertake various husbandry and farming practices in conjunction with an increase to our maintenance requirements for our land and sea-based assets, we are now seeking a down-to-earth, hands on, competent General Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in beautiful Broome.

This position will require: –

  • Working a flexible roster which may include weekends
  • Have a hands-on approach with activities based on land and at sea
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage various moving parts
  • The ability to work both autonomously as well as within a small crew
  • The ability to show initiative and think on your feet whilst maintaining safety standards
  • Hold a current/valid manual driver’s license

It would be advantageous to your application to have experience or hold the qualifications below:

  • Any mechanical or marine trade experience
  • Any building or carpentry experience
  • Coxswain Grade 1 NC
  • LR or MR Driver’s license with PTD endorsement
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Any experience with aquaculture or pearl farming activities

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualification and experience.  This position is full-time.
