About Us: Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge offers unique accommodation and adventurous outback helicopter and 4WD experiences along the famous Gibb River Road. With its unbeatable proximity to iconic Kimberley landmarks, Mount Hart is the perfect gateway to explore the West Kimberley including the Horizontal Falls (just 40 mins away by helicopter) and Buccaneer Archipelago, Twin Flame Falls, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Charnley River Gorge and much more.

The Role: We are seeking an energetic and skilled Head Bartender and Bartender/ Barista to create an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. You will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth bar operations.

Whether mixing classic cocktails, recommending local wines, or keeping the bar well-stocked and organised, you will play a key role in enhancing our guests’ experience at Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve drinks with professionalism and warmth, creating a welcoming environment for guests to relax and socialise.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including classic cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain an efficient and organised bar, including stock management, inventory control, and cleanliness.
  • Offer recommendations and share stories with guests, enhancing their experience at the lodge.
  • Ensure all drinks are made to high-quality standards and in compliance with liquor licensing regulations.
  • Work closely with the lodge team to ensure seamless service, assist with events, and contribute to the overall guest experience.
  • Train and mentor junior bar staff, oversee daily bar operations, and assist in menu planning and stock ordering.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender, bar supervisor, or in a hospitality role.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including split shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • (For Head Bartender role) Experience in stock management, team leadership, and training staff is desirable.
