HEAD OF FLYING OPERATIONS

Broome Aviation is looking to employ a full time Head of Flying Operations.

We are looking for a strong leader to join our team.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

*   Possess strong leadership skills

*   Enjoy training and checking in both practical and theoretical environments

*   Be a team player whilst also being able to work independently

*   Be self-motivated to succeed and grow in the role

*   Have sound computer skills

*   Have strong problem-solving abilities

*   Be willing to contribute to improve systems and safety related policy and procedure

Minimum requirements

*   Australian CPL and current CASA Class 1 medical

*   Current MEA-IR

*   500 hours Single Engine Piston

*   200 hours MEA

Desirable experience includes:

*   Previous time on any of the following aircraft – Cessna 210, 310, 404, 208

*   Previous Chief Pilot/HOFO experience in a similar working environment

*   Wet season experience

Tasks & responsibilities

*   The Head of Flying Operations will be accountable to CASA for all operational matters including the safety and compliance of all company flying operations

*   Ensuring all operations are conducted in accordance with CASA regulations

*   Managing the company’s exposition according to the CASR’s

The successful candidate will work with the current HOFO to learn the role and must be able to pass the CASA flight check/exams.
