Guma-Warnii Resources is a privately owned recruitment agency, servicing Tier 1 and 2 clients across the Mining Industry in WA.
Guma-Warnii Resources are recruiting Heavy Diesel Fitters for a leading mining client who has a new contract located in the beautiful Kimberley region of Western Australia on an 8/6 days alternating with a 7/7 nights roster FIFO Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, carrying out repairs as required and diagnosing faults on a variety of different earthmoving and haulage machinery, mainly Dump Trucks, Excavators, Dozers, Graders and Loaders
- Coaching, mentoring and training Apprentices and Trade Assistants – share your knowledge
- Maintaining a high quality of work
- Maintaining a high degree of safety in line with our policies and procedures
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard
- Reliable and take pride in your quality of work
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in more than one of the following – Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu and John Deere equipment.
- 12 months post trade experience in a mining or civil engineering environment on large scale earthmoving equipment.
- Australian recognized Heavy Diesel Fitting Trade Qualification.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.
- A proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standards.

- The ability to work on an extensive range of equipment including Caterpillar, Hitachi, Liebherr, Komatsu and John Deere in a purpose-built workshop.
- Night Loading of 15% paid on top of hourly rate for all nights worked!
- Permanent, fulltime employment opportunity after a period of time for the right people.
- Excellent Hourly Rate plus 11.5% super paid on top for all hours worked
