The HMC Group has extensive aviation, tourism and accommodation operations in some of the most iconic regions of Australia and is seeking to appoint a HR Advisor.

About the role
In this newly established position, you will receive exposure to the full employee lifecycle. The position can be based out of either our Perth, Broome or Kununurra offices.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Provide advice and guidance to employees on a range of general HR queries.
- Assist managers in resolving employee relations matters, including grievances, performance and development.
- Assist in the development, review and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in a range of broader HR projects, including process and systems improvements.
- Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with the creation of eLearning modules within the LMS to support understanding and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Oversee the coordination of training including a focus on apprentice and trainee development.
To be successful in this role
- Previous experience at an HR Advisor (or similar) level with exposure to the full employee lifecycle is essential.
- Have demonstrated experience in the interpretation of the Fair Work Act, NES, and Awards.
- A tertiary qualification, or progression towards, in human resources management or similar field is highly desirable.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives.
- Have a strong working knowledge and experience utilising HRIS.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation.
- Be a committed team player willing and happy to assist across the HR team as required.
