Salary: $41.52 per hour, plus super

Inclusion Professionals provide a range of supports to ECEC’s and community stakeholders, aiming to embed new learnings and support the inclusion of children with varying complex needs and developmental stages to participate in their early learning services fully, alongside typically developing peers.
Our unique program meets the wellbeing needs of children and skills of Educator teams in our community by building inclusive practices, mentoring and strategic planning for positive participation & inclusion for all children in their Early Learning Education and Care services.

Purpose of the role
To work collaboratively with ECEC’s, colleagues and stakeholders to provide mentoring and program support, capacity building & community collaboration towards.
Work in line with ISP guidelines and requirements, workplace health and safety and sustainable practices, One Tree Community Services guiding principles and strategic goals, as set out in the 2024 ISP workplan & staff handbook.
Skills and Competence
- Early childhood education experience and embedded understanding of child development, the EYLF, Reconciliation journey, culture and community
- Teamwork: Well-developed skills in team collaboration
- Communication: Demonstrated communication skills – oral, written and computer
- Professional relationships: Ability to maintain prominent level of understanding and respectful relationships with colleagues, educators, stakeholders & community partnerships
- Working within Indigenous culture: demonstrating deep appreciation of Indigenous knowledge and respectful relationships
- Advocacy and a strong commitment to the rights of the child, equity and participation for all children
Qualifications and Requirements
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Live in or willing to move to Broome, WA
- Ability to travel regularly
- Diploma in early childhood/ACECQA approved equivalent or above
- Current WA Working with Children Check
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence
- Ability to travel in Kimberley region regularly, position based in Broome or Kununurra as required for successful applicant
