Lions Outback Vision РReceptionist 

This role is responsible for providing full coverage of reception duties to all visitors and patients at the Kimberley Hub, ensuring a friendly and professional manner whilst providing the highest level of customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Make appointments for patients as directed by Doctors or the Practice Manager
  • Receive any incoming deliveries
  • Prioritise, manage, direct and distribute incoming telephone calls, mail, email, facsimiles and deliveries
  • Perform accurate data entry
  • Organise couriers and deliveries for other staff members
  • General office duties including the posting and collection of mail and picking up of office supplies as directed
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Pick-up / drop off patients when required
  • Provide support to the team when required and as directed

Essential Criteria

  • Year 12 School Certificate or equivalent competency
  • Current unencumbered WA C class drivers license
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Previous customer service or reception experience

Desirable

  • Previous experience with high volume switchboard activities and customer contact
  • Typing and data entry accuracy skills
