Road Trains of Australia (RTA) is one of the largest privately-owned livestock transporters in Australia. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on decades of experience in the safe and dependable transport of livestock, petroleum, and bulk commodities throughout Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Queensland with our fleet of 90+ prime movers.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Livestock Road Train Drivers to join our team based in Broome, WA.

Your Role

As a Road Train Driver, your duties will include:

• Handling, checking, and managing livestock while on route.
• Loading and unloading livestock.
• Ensuring your RTA vehicle and crates are well-maintained.
• Driving to a safe and professional standard.
• Completing paperwork, including logbooks and trip sheets, to a satisfactory standard.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures.
• Adhering to the Chain of Responsibility.

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid MC driver’s licence.
• Previous truck driving experience.
• Previous experience with livestock (desirable).
• Rights to work in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo medical, drug & alcohol fitness assessments, including a Commercial Driver Fitness assessment.
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance.
