Position: Room Leader (Responsible Person)
Status: Permanent Full Time
Salary range: $77,700.88 (inclusive of all allowances/loadings), plus super
Qualifications: Diploma in early childhood/ACECQA approved equivalent or working towards diploma

Selection criteria

• Minimum one (1) year’s experience in a room leader role or above
• Experience in working in a remote community
• Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children’s learning
• Communication skills and ability to lead a team
• Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level
• Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks
• Ability to advocate for children’s rights and role model positive relationships with children

Requirements

• Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Kununurra
• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood/ACECQA approved equivalent or working towards diploma
• Current WA Working with Children Check
• Current National Police Clearance dated within 3 months
