About the Role
We are looking for a customer focussed and dynamic person to join our Broome team as a Sales & Service Specialist. Adding value for our customers by offering an unsurpassed level of customer service. This role brings together our Retail & Trade Hardware offer along with our Small Engine Sales & Service Centre to service our local customers with the right knowledge and advice.
We require a motivated and enthusiastic person who is willing to embrace and drive change while learning the ropes of a diverse and a busy store. You will get the opportunity for ongoing training and development to improve your mechanical skills, customer service skills, leadership skills, and the chance to work in different areas of the store whilst pursuing growth and learning on a daily basis.
Our roles suit those who are willing to work in a team environment where no two days will be the same. This position requires the ability to work every second Saturday morning.
Responsibilities will include
Prior experience with hardware, small engines or within the building industry is essential. The role is well suited to someone with confidence who enjoys working with people.

Sales & Service enquiries
• Liaise with customers to offer technical advice and recommendation of outdoor power equipment
• Service and repairs for small engines (Honda & Stihl)
• Hardware sales, stock movement and replenishment, housekeeping and store presentation
• Processing of customer orders & quotes by phone and email
• Preparing accurate quotes for customer orders
• Undertake regular product training with market leading brands
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Experience with or interest in mechanics
• Physically fit with the ability to safely lift loads and manually handle goods
• Looking for new learning opportunities to expand your current skill set
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with high level of accuracy
• Previous experience in cash handling and point of sale
• Computer literate and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent communication skills and an enjoyment of working with people
• Genuine commitment to Safety and Company values
• Ability to handle products appropriately to minimise damage
• Manual Vehicle Licence
• Forklift Licence (LF) Advantageous
