 Willie Creek Pearls is a thriving award-winning Western Australian family-owned business who produce exquisite Australian South Sea Pearls and are celebrated for our commitment to quality, sustainability, and unforgettable experiences. From our world-class pearl farm tours to our stunning jewellery collections, we bring the magic of Western Australia’s pearls to life.  Boasting four showrooms in Perth and three in Broome, including the renowned Willie Creek Pearl Farm, we are a multi-faceted business – join us and be part of a team that’s passionate about craftsmanship, storytelling, and innovation.

We are looking for down-to-earth, hands-on, go-getters, who can fill the positions of Tour Skippers; Tour Drivers; Cook; Front of House; Tour Guides and Retail team members in beautiful Broome for the 2025 season. The roles available require a 100% can do attitude; enjoy working alongside team members, with a happy calm disposition and a real passion for selling a West Australian product.

You must be available from mid-March 2025 until mid-October 2025 and have full working rights in Australia.

Successful candidates will have qualifications and previous experience in:

Tour Skippers:

·      Coxswain Grade 1 or Coxswain Grade 2 with passenger endorsement.

·     Demonstrated experience at presenting confidently to large sized groups, as either a Tour Guide or through tourism experience.

Tour Drivers:

·      Department of Transport, Light Rigid (LR) vehicle license.

·      Department of Transport, Passenger Transport Drivers (PTD) license or ability to attain prior to starting.

·      Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or ability to attain.

·      Kimberley Port Authority Induction Card or ability to attain.

·      The ability to communicate with fellow team members and customers.

Tour Guides:

·     Demonstrated experience at presenting confidently, to large sized groups, as either a Tour Guide or through tourism experience.

·     Enjoy sharing a story.

·      Previous exposure to customer service or retail sales.

Retail Sales:

·      Previous retail and sales experience.

·      The ability to engage with customers at all levels.

 Cook and Front of House (Day Shifts):

·      Highly organised and able to multi-task.

·      Previous experience with ordering and cost of goods.

·      The ability to engage with customers and think on your feet.

·      RSA Certificate, or the commitment to complete the course.

·      Basic Food Safety WA Certificate, or commitment to complete the course.

All positions require:

·      Reliability and commitment to the season.

·      Excellent oral and communication skills.

·      Enjoy meeting new people and engaging.

·      A profound sense of customer awareness and ability to go above and beyond to provide for our guests.

Working in our Tourism, Retail and Hospitality business, you will be available for regular weekend work as well as weekdays; present a very clean, tidy appearance, and always act professionally.
