You will be responsible for:

Overseeing the workshop floor, providing guidance and support for efficient task completion

Utilise expertise to diagnose complex mechanical issues through thorough inspection and testing

Lead major repair and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards

Address technical challenges, collaborating with the Service Manager for innovative solutions

Manage spare parts inventory, coordinating with suppliers for necessary items and discussing with the Administration team

Fostering a positive work environment, promoting collaboration and mutual respect

Assist in budget planning alongside the Service Manager and resource optimisation for efficient operations

By effectively managing these responsibilities, you ensure smooth workshop operations, high service standards, and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications & experience necessary for this role:

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Minimum 2 years, 4 years preferred)

C Class Drivers License

A combination of proven technical knowledge and experience in a similar role, leadership abilities, and strong interpersonal skills

Possession of a National Police Clearance, or ability to get one

Possess confidence in managing a fast-paced workshop and demonstrate clear communication skills

Confidence in complaint handling and conflict resolution

A commitment to ongoing learning and staying updated on industry developments is beneficial

Would be advantageous but not required:

  • Heavy vehicles experience
  • Hybrid & EV experience
  • Forklift license
  • Air Conditioning License
  • Strong diagnostic background




This is an ongoing, full-time role with a negotiable salary, BASED ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

You must have working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence.
