Serviceperson

Amaroo Mining and Civil are a leading company specialising in civil construction services, including civil and concrete operations, operating across Northern Territory and Western Australia.

As part of an ongoing project for our civil division, located in the Kimberley region of WA, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Serviceperson to join our team on a 2/2 roster. FIFO will be offered from Perth or Darwin, or DIDO for Broome / Derby residents.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role supporting the daily maintenance as well as assisting with preventative / corrective maintenance and will be expected to approach their duties with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out refuelling, greasing, washing as well as scheduled servicing and general maintenance of all plant & equipment (including light vehicles) safely and efficiently
• Assist wherever possible as first point of call for diagnostic assistance
• Assist trades people in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and associated components as directed
• Identifying defects on equipment whilst performing the daily duties of the role
• Administrative duties as required including accurate completion of service sheets and documentation, stock take of spare parts and service items
• Working collaboratively within a team to accomplish assigned tasks

Eligible candidates will have:

Essential

• Minimum HR license
• Construction white card
• RIISAM212E Service mine plant and equipment
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical
• Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment including articulated dump trucks, graders, dozers

Desirable

• RIISAM301F Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
• Previous mine site/civil experience
