About this Job

We are Australia’s largest privately owned housing maintenance company. Our clients include Public Housing and Community Housing across the country.

 

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to work in full time permanent role to assist in the onsite delivery of maintenance services at residential and vacant dwellings in Broome WA.

 

This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that involves preparing job quotations, managing variations, addressing defects, and overseeing subcontractors.

 

Key skills and responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate and supervise trades to conduct timely, high quality work and to meet deadlines;
  • Contact tenants where applicable to gain access for inspections of works;
  • Perform carpentry and handyman maintenance duties to tenanted properties;
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance is met;
  • Liaise with trades to have defective works completed within target date;
  • Ensure compliance is met with client contractual requirements;
  • Undertake pre-work inspection and/or scope within the required timeframe;
  • Provide technical and operational advice in the field to trades/subcontractors;
  • Manage vacant works

 

Essential:

 

  • Experience organising and supervising trades;
  • Must have a current Drivers Licence;
  • White Card essential or willing to obtain prior to appointment;
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check;Strong communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Must be able to work from a tablet/iPad.
