Job Description
We are seeking an additional Skipper to join our team for the 2025 season. You will be part of a dynamic group, collaborating with our existing team of skippers and marine staff. While only one skipper is on duty at a time, teamwork is essential to ensure seamless vessel operations aboard our 23.5M vessel, Ohana, in the stunning Kimberley region.
About the position
- 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off position or similar
- You will be required to stay on the vessel in Cygnet Bay
- Accommodation and meals provided. Transport to and from Broome provided.
- Seasonal position – March to October 2024

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow skippers to manage all vessel operations
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers and crew
- Navigating the vessel effectively and efficiently
- Adhering to all maritime regulations and standards
- Providing excellent customer service to our guests
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the vessel and its equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Ensuring the company SMS is complied with and kept up to date
Requirements
- Master 5 minimum
- MED 2
- Senior First Aid
- At least two years experience skippering boats in the Kimberley – this is a must
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
