Please note that this job position is not in Broome, but for a Relief Store Manager in Remote Outback Australia in either NT, QLD, NSW, SA or WA.

 

Outback Stores is seeking Relief Store Managers to join our Outback family.

As a Relief Store Manager, you will be able travel to different communities whilst being in a permanent full-time position. You will relieve current store managers at different indigenous communities. You will be able to directly share your knowledge, collaborate with community members and enjoy some of the most remote parts of Australia.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Outback Stores desire our Relief Store Managers, to have a range of skills that are transferable to our team environment, this includes:

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail and fast-moving consumer goods experience in a grocery environment.
  • Prior experience as a Store Manager in a retail environment.
  • Experience in mentoring, training, and leading a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of rostering and staff allocation.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management, including wage control, inventory, and stock control.
  • Effective cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Sound customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, with the ability to learn new software.
