KRCIC is a non-profit organisation that empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Broome area and remote communities within the Kullarri Region, to gain employment and education through government funded programs and initiatives.
Job description
The incumbent of this position will operate under the broad direction of the CEO and exercise managerial responsibility in the delivery of the Transition to work Program. They will be a senior specialist providing advice to staff, CEO and Board on the implementation of the Transition to Work initiative and have the capacity to map program activities and outcomes to the organisation’s goals and objectives.
The incumbent will manage the program budget and develop and implement techniques, work practices and procedures in all facets of the program that comply with the policy framework and the Department’s contractual requirements. They will have a theoretical approach to managing solutions to the potential roadblocks and opportunities inherent in the program.
They will have responsibility for decision-making within the constraints of organisational policy and demonstrate high level capacity to formulate, implement, monitor and evaluate the program.
