Since expanding into the Mining Sector in 2020, AVS has continued to grow across Australia, and we are looking for motivated and reliable team members to join our team in Broome, WA.

As a Utility All Rounder, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day experience of residents by supporting housekeeping, hospitality, dining, cleaning and general operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork and hands-on work.

We are seeking local Broome residents who are reliable, motivated and interested in joining our growing Village Services team.

About the Role

As a Utility All Rounder, you will support multiple areas of the operation to help deliver a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, guests and fellow team members.

You will be responsible for:

• Housekeeping and accommodation room cleaning
• Cleaning facilities, amenities and communal areas
• Supporting kitchen and dining room operations
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning duties
• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Supporting hospitality services where required
• Waste management and general upkeep
• Grounds maintenance and outdoor cleaning duties
• Working collaboratively across different operational areas
• Contributing to a positive team culture and safe working environment
• Flexibility to work across different service areas and shifts as required

You will bring:

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, catering or utility experience
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
• The ability to work efficiently in physically demanding environments

• Flexibility and adaptability across different work areas
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• The ability to work well within a team-focused environment
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices

Essential Requirements

• Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence
• RSA Certificate
• Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or village operations
• Forklift Licence
• Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Experience working in accommodation, hospitality or remote environments
