Join the Broome CIRCLE Team as our Volunteer Coordinator and help shape a stronger, more connected Broome through volunteering. We’re looking for a driven, creative, and community-minded person to lead our thriving volunteer program and build lasting partnerships that make a real difference.

About Broome CIRCLE

Broome CIRCLE is a community-based organisation located in the heart of the Kimberley, we pride ourselves on filling gaps in the needs of our community. We deliver a broad range of services and activities that support community connection, resilience and growth. Through our Volunteer Resource Service, we match passionate locals and visitors with meaningful volunteer opportunities, helping build strong, connected communities.

The Volunteer Coordinator plays a key role in promoting and supporting the volunteering sector in Broome. You’ll develop and implement strategies to boost participation, build relationships with local organisations, and ensure that volunteers are recruited, supported and celebrated.

Essential:

  • A positive, professional, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Great time management and organisational abilities
  • Confidence in using the Microsoft Office suite, outlook and google forms
  • Working with Children Check, Police Clearance and manual driver’s licence
  • A comfort with being in front of the camera to promote volunteering initiatives

Desirable:

  • A qualification in Community Services or similar (or currently studying)
  • At least 1 year of experience in a volunteer coordination or community-facing role
  • Knowledge of Broome’s community services sector
  • Experience with promotional events, community outreach or training delivery
  • Experience with Canva not necessary but certainly appreciated!
