Waiter/Bar & Coffee service (Front of House)

1. POSITION SUMMARY
• This position is to serve as guests’ first point of contact at Home Valley Station and to manage all aspects of their accommodation.
• Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, camping, rules, rates and amenities.
• Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
2. POSITION TASKS
• Provide table waiting services in the restaurant;
• Ensuring that all guests receive a high standard of service at all times;
• Act in a responsible manner whilst tending the bar as per instructions given by the Approved Manager and in accordance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines;
• Ensure closure and securing of bar areas at agreed time and as per Home Valley procedures.
• Present at all times in a clean and professional manner
3. EXPERIENCE
• Experience working in busy restaurant or bar;
• Understanding of point of sale (POS) systems;
• Ability to pour alcoholic drinks from taps;
• Ability to make coffee from coffee machine.
• Must have completed and obtained Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (RSA).
