Are you interested in enhancing the wellness and addressing the needs of students in the remote Kimberley? Do you possess an appreciation for Aboriginal culture, traditions, and the importance of embracing diversity? A small community-based school in the Kimberley seeks a Wellbeing Services Coordinator to significantly contribute to the improvement of student health and wellbeing.

Situated roughly 3 hours from Derby, your role will involve close collaboration with residential mentors, teachers, parents/carers, and community stakeholders to guarantee every student has the chance to achieve their utmost potential.

We are dedicated to empowering Indigenous students to chart their own paths of progress and secure a significant, impactful place within their communities and the broader Australian society.

The educational model embraces the Two-Way learning principle, recognizing educators as both instructors and learners – gaining insights from students, the land, the local community, local Elders, and their colleagues. The emphasis on “On Country” learning, guided by the 8 Aboriginal Ways of Learning, fosters experiential learning deeply connected to traditional practices, the local environment, culture, and community.
