Entry Level Technical Trainee

Main Roads Western Australia currently have an opportunity available for an entry level Technical Trainee – Materials.  This position is based at our Derby regional office as part of the two year Materials Traineeship.

This two year technical traineeship will give successful applicants the opportunity to develop a variety of hands on experience, including but not limited to:

• Field testing on construction materials
• Laboratory chemical and physical testing of construction materials
• Operating and maintaining testing equipment
• Assisting with calibrating road testing and construction equipment
• Assistance with pavement and surfacing investigations

The role attracts a starting salary of $60 173 (base), plus superannuation.
