HSE Advisor – Site Based
2:1 or ex Perth or Local to the Kimberley
Buru Rehab are looking for a high energy HSE Advisor to join our team in the Kimberley as we re-start a rehabilitation operation, so you will be there from the start to set things up for success!
Supported by the hands-on leadership team, the role will be based onsite and cover all aspects of safety for the project including:
- Emergency response
- Incident and event management
- Investigations
- Inspections
- Audits
- Action management
- Inductions
- Injury Management
- Risk and general safety training
- Managing the training matrix and Indigenous training program
To be considered for the position you must possess the following as a minimum:
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety or higher
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Relevant Bulk earthworks experience in a similar role within Health, Safety and Environment in the Civil or Mining sectors
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven knowledge of Australian WHS laws and regulations
Things we’d consider a bonus:
- Certificate IV Trainer Assessor
- High level first aid/paramedic
- MyOSH experience
- ICAM trained
- Auditing qualifications
