HSE Advisor

HSE Advisor – Site Based

2:1 or ex Perth or Local to the Kimberley

Buru Rehab are looking for a high energy HSE Advisor to join our team in the Kimberley as we re-start a rehabilitation operation, so you will be there from the start to set things up for success!

Supported by the hands-on leadership team, the role will be based onsite and cover all aspects of safety for the project including:

• Emergency response
• Incident and event management
• Investigations
• Inspections
• Audits
• Action management
• Inductions
• Injury Management
• Risk and general safety training
• Managing the training matrix and Indigenous training program

To be considered for the position you must possess the following as a minimum:

• Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety or higher
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Relevant Bulk earthworks experience in a similar role within Health, Safety and Environment in the Civil or Mining sectors
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven knowledge of Australian WHS laws and regulations 

Things we’d consider a bonus:

• Certificate IV Trainer Assessor
• High level first aid/paramedic
• MyOSH experience
• ICAM trained
• Auditing qualifications
